The raised raised access flooring system for terraces, STE for exteriors, is created to solve the aesthetic problem that exists with the slopes on current terraces and also hides installations under the pavement. This system creates a totally flat pavement, hiding the drainage slopes underneath it.

The absorption of unevenness is achieved with the height-adjustable plots and drainage is carried out through the pavement joint, which is open and, subsequently, through the waterproofed slopes of the terrace to the drain.

These floors are also known as outdoor raised floors, outdoor raised floors, outdoor technical raised floors...

Raised technical flooring for outdoor use

The raised technical floor is a great solution for a multitude of spaces, both indoor and outdoor, both for its performance and its finishes, offering functionality and aesthetics for a clean and elegant result.

Outdoor raised pavement for terraces is a system characterised by the fact that the walkable area made up of non-slip floor tiles does not rest directly on the pavement, but on an elevated structure. It was created to solve the aesthetic problem that exists with the slopes on the current terraces and also to hide installations under the pavement.

This system creates a completely flat pavement, hiding the drainage slopes underneath it, giving rise to a technical space between the bottom and the ground that is used to house the facilities. The modules that make up the floor are placed on the support, which allows them to be removed with great ease and access to the space below.

This type of flooring has the following advantages:

  • Control over the channelling of the installations, which are freely housed under the pavement.
  • It has great versatility since although its weight is very light it is capable of supporting high loads.
  • Ease of access for more convenient maintenance.
  • Possibility of reuse. The adhesive-free installation allows floor mobility even between different locations.
  • Quick installation. It can even be installed on existing floors.

It is the ideal solution not only for terraces and exteriors but can also be used for flooring in multifunctional spaces, office flooring and as flooring for commercial buildings.

Whatever the space, if flexibility and aesthetic finish are among the priorities of the project, the installation of a raised floor is the smartest solution.
