Before selecting the right adhesive cement, it is important to know the different nomenclatures that all types of cementitious adhesives have.

The C classification indicates the type of product, we already know with this what a Cementitious Adhesive is.

In addition, we must know the specific characteristics, which can be:

  • Class 1: Regular adhesive
  • Class 2: Improved Adhesive
  • Class F: Fast-setting adhesive
  • Class T: Reduced slip adhesive
  • Class E: Extended Open Time Adhesive
  • Class S1: Adhesive deformable against movements and thermal changes in its useful life.
  • Class S2: Highly deformable adhesive

Thus, to give a real example, our Flex White adhesive cement that is type C2TES1 has the following characteristics:

  • C-> It is a cementitious adhesive
  • 2 -> It is an improved adhesive
  • T-> It is a reduced slip adhesive
  • E-> is an extended open-time adhesive. Allows for more working time.
