Tips for cleaning and maintaining ceramic tiles

For a correct final cleaning of ceramic tiles in any format, we recommend Deterdek, the acid-based cleaner for ceramic tiles that removes deposits caused by installation and the dirt of the work itself, without altering the appearance and colour of the product, and without emitting harmful fumes for the person who is applying it.

The final washing of the work is essential to remove the residues of the adhesive cement and grouting that in large tile formats create a window effect, which is easy to remove with the Deterdek, whose acid component easily removes the polymeric component of the cements used.

Once the final cleaning of the work has been carried out, maintenance is also very important, with a suitable cleaning agent, which does not create a film on top of our tile that generates dirt and changes the shades of our ceramic tiles.

For ordinary cleaning we recommend the Filacleaner, which if used diluted does not need rinsing and does not leave any residue. Common detergents often contain polishing substances that are deposited on the pavement and over time form unsightly haloes and stains or leave the surface sticky and attract more dirt.
