The most comfortable thing would be to nail the sheet (as taut as possible) between the floor and the slab, leaving a few millimeters between the sheet and the wall. Then leave an air chamber to achieve the desired thermal insulation. (minimum between 2-4 cm of air chamber)
To avoid thermal bridges, it is advisable to use aluminum adhesive tape to join some pieces with others. This practice facilitates the installation and eliminates the need for battens.
This product also has a special application for roofs. In this specific case, wooden battens must be used, with the disadvantage that it is not possible for operators to move over the sheet, which could reduce the thickness of the air chamber and dirty it.
To do this, the first layer of battens will be placed in the direction of the slope, then the first roll will be extended parallel to the gutter and on top of this the battens that will serve as a base for the finish (tile, slate,...) and that will serve so that the operator does not damage the sheet (these battens must be strong enough to support the weight of the operators.
