Concrete support developed for the installation of solar panels on roofs and surfaces without mechanical fixings and environments that require optimisation of the installation based on safety factors and resistance to weather agents.
Made of cement and high-strength aggregates, and with an innovative design, these supports allow you to obtain the optimal elevation of each place, and even to be able to change it depending on the seasons of the year. No need for fixings or screws to the floor, since the weight of the set is capable of withstanding strong winds keeping the panels perfectly oriented at all times.
A technological development designed to make solar projects profitable, as well as achieving excellent aesthetic and efficient results in the installation and maintenance process. A project of the R+D+i department of Verniprens that is being admired by the most demanding players in the solar sector. Its ease of handling, transport and adjustment, together with its solidity and reliability, give this substrate indisputable characteristics in terms of profitability and efficiency.
Key benefits
- Easy installation on the ground and deck.
- Mounting on terraces without drilling.
- Quick placement by a single operator.
- Concrete product, anti-theft.
- Resistant and durable material.
- More economical than metal supports.
- Different degrees of elevation.
Installation
- The installation site must be kept stable, clean, level and free of loose elements, so that the lower support has total contact with the surface, ground or roof. The lower units should be arranged starting at the ends of the rows and ensure that they are aligned and level.
- Once the two units at the ends of the same fila have been leveled, a simple line (or thin rope) will help to make a perfect alignment of the rest of the supports to be installed. NOTE: The distance between supports must be calculated based on the panel model to be installed
- Once all the lower units have been placed, and aligned, the placement of the upper unit is very simple and easy to perform. A simple lateral shift in the corresponding guides of the desired elevation will leave the two pieces together. NOTE: Put all units in the same elevation angle position, see Elevation Chart. IMPORTANT: To join the upper part, insert it through the part marked with the degrees as indicated by the arrows in this image.
Assembly tips
- In order to obtain greater compaction of the two units, small dots of polyurethane putty must be placed on the guides, so as to avoid possible vibrations caused by strong winds. Two models of special anchors guarantee the anchoring of the panels to the concrete support: Extreme anchor (4 units per fila), for the start and end, and Central anchor for the supports that join two panels (2 units per panel). IMPORTANT: The extreme anchor is designed for 3cm panels, removing the bottom part with a simple lateral movement and the help of pliers. In the case of installing panels with a higher frame height, the lower part can be maintained.
- For the correct installation of the panels on the cement supports, it is necessary to respect the "Torque" recommended by the manufacturer of the panels.
- It will be responsible for the engineering of the project, the correct installation, calculation and dimensioning of the structure and installation of the panels. In the case of wanting to increase the grip on a roof surface exposed to strong winds, it is recommended to apply polyurethane (or cement) putties to the base, in order for the set to reinforce its resistance to the wind. Calculations and these types of technical decisions will always be the responsibility of the designer and installer. This support has two rear guides that can be used for anchoring auxiliary elements such as connection ducts, cable pass-throughs or application of safety tensioners. In the case of using these guides, anchors must be added
